The Development Manager is responsible for identifying prospective rural clients who need better power solutions, especially in farming communities – provided by solar and battery for their irrigation needs. And, once identified, then the Development Manager works to get agreement on the uptake of our power solutions (we then build the infrastructure onsite and provide them with cheaper power for their irrigation).

Successful candidates will have a farming background, be good at talking with a diverse range of people; capable and comfortable of starting conversations with farmers and their community, as well as building confidence with them in our projects.  This includes networking within the local farming community and hosting events for them, also managing contracts with the farmers. You’ll be motivated by getting development projects started from scratch. Afrikaans fluency and with bilingual English essential.
